Alcohol Wellness Coaching

Wellness begins when the fog lifts.

Personalized coaching to help you reflect, take action, and move forward.

Welcome, I'm So Glad You're Here

Being that you are, I'm assuming you're struggling with some cognitive dissonance in your life, telling yourself something but doing the opposite. Maybe you know the facts about alcohol but still can't seem to abstain or moderate. Maybe you believe alcohol is the thread holding your life together, maybe you can't seem to understand why you are miserable when you can't drink, maybe you're wondering why you allow alcohol to take up so much of your mental real estate?

Many people believe alcohol relaxes them, it makes them happy, it makes them better at their job, it makes sex better, it makes everything more fun, it reduces stress, and the list goes on and on about what we have been led to believe alcohol does for us. I fell into the trap, just like the bugs that fall prey to the picture plant.

Maybe you have visited the American Cancer Society website and read the facts. Maybe you have avoided it and don't want to know. I certainly wasn't aware that 87% of Americans drink even when all the facts are there about how bad it is for us.

But do you know it isn't our fault? Alcohol is very addictive but yet it is still allowed to be marketed as "the elixir" of life. But it isn't, we have all been duped.

How We'll Work Together

Understanding the Trap

Recognizing that your struggle isn't a personal failing—it's neuroscience. Alcohol hijacks our brain's reward system, making us believe we need something that's actually working against us.

Reclaiming Your Mental Real Estate

Discovering what you're really seeking when you reach for alcohol—peace, connection, relief—and finding authentic ways to meet those needs.

Breaking the Rules Cycle

Moving beyond the endless rules we create for ourselves and the self-punishment when we break them. This isn't about more willpower—it's about understanding.

Faith-Based Support Available

For those who want it, exploring how spiritual guidance and peace can become the governing force in your decisions.

Who I Work With

High-Functioning People Who Feel Trapped

You've got your life together on the outside, but inside you're exhausted by the mental gymnastics around alcohol. You're tired of the rules, the counting, the constant negotiation with yourself.

Those Exploring "Sober Curious"

You're wondering what life might look like with less alcohol—or none at all. You're not in crisis, but you're curious about what clarity and authentic joy might feel like.

Anyone Ready to Stop the Cognitive Dissonance

You know the facts about alcohol but keep doing the opposite of what you know is good for you. You're ready to understand why and break free from the cycle.

This Isn't About Fixing You

Coaching isn't about fixing you—it's about uncovering what's already within you. The peace you're seeking, the clarity you want, the authentic joy—it's all there. We just need to remove what's blocking it.

I take a personalized, down-to-earth approach. That means deep listening, education about what alcohol really does, and practical steps that align with your values. No cookie-cutter advice. No pressure. No shame. Just support, understanding, and the fog beginning to lift.

A Note About Faith

The day I decided to start unraveling, I wrote down a paragraph from a book I was reading:

"We must first realize that God's way is the best way, and then we must learn to listen to His voice. He knows my needs—our Spirits are fertile ground to receive His guidance and instruction once we realize and accept that He gives peace—that should be the governing force of each decision we make. Choose to let the peace of God guide you in your next important decision. Keeping in mind that God's best will far exceed any good thing you could create on your own."
